Accessing The Hotel By Public Transport
If you wish to travel to the Old Park by bus or train there are several options
From Ryde Pier Fast Cat Ferry Terminal
Catching the train at the ferry terminal saves the walk along the pier to the bus terminal. The train goes to Shanklin where you can get a taxi to the Old Park. Alternatively you can get the No 3 Bus from Shanklin to Ventnor town centre and then the No. 6 bus to St Lawrence Village.
Another option is the No. 3 bus to Ventnor town centre from Ryde esplanade then the No. 6 bus to St Lawrence, This will however involve a long walk down the pier.
From The Ryde Esplanade Via Hover Craft
Take the No.3 bus to Ventnor town centre from Ryde esplanade then the No. 6 bus to St Lawrence.
The connectivity of the train and these 2 buses is not linked and note that the No. 6 to St Lawrence runs every 2 hours.
Once in St Lawrence you will have to walk about ½ mile to the Hotel from the village.
Information on the No.3 and No 6 bus can be found via these links.
Alternatively you can walk along the pier and get the No. 3 bus to Ventnor town centre saving the train to bus connection, but it is a long walk.
From Red Jet From Southampton to Cowes
From Cowes you must first get the No 1 bus to Newport Bus Station and then take the No. 6 to St Lawrence
Foot Passenger from Yarmouth Car Ferry
From Yarmouth take the No. 7 bus to Newport Bus Station and then take the No. 6 to St Lawrence
